Absolute poor rotten service Waste of time!!!

So I'm due for an upgrade and Vodacom calls me with a deal, which will be delivered via courier. They say the Courier service will let me know a day before the time and that I should have my ID ready to show with delivery.

The 1st issue was when they contacted me the on the day to say they're coming. Now I have to move mountains to ensure I'm at home to receive the package. The 2nd issue is that RAM the courier service, can't tell me what time they'll be with me, so I end up sitting the whole day at home waiting for them. I'm losing money sitting there and it affect the lives of others, this nonsense. The 3rd issue is that I wasted around R60 airtime holding on for RAM operators who ensured me three times the delivery is on it's way and they will contact me any moment. Lies! 4th issue is that I wasted the whole day because they all of a sudden appeared after 6pm while they're communication says to be ready between 8am and 5pm. I couldn't go anywhere because the operators repeatedly told me since 14h30 that the courier is Now in my area. The 5th issue is that even though they came with the package and I would have calmed down because Im just happy to finally receive the ****** thing, they now refuse to give it to me because I don't have a proof of address with me. This is not the fault of the delivery guy whose just following protocol but the Vodacom sales person who told me to only have my ID ready in the first place.

This whole process has been outrageously frustrating to say the least. And the most frustrating thing is the lack of service and transparency I had throughout the process.

They left again with the package and I have no Idea how it's going to ruin the rest of my week until it's sorted out.

If you expect your clients to jump the amount of hoops you require, then you have to do better than this.

I'm resolved to never make use of any telefone deal ever again.
