Absolute money making business
Vodacom wants to charge me R14 787 to cancel a contract on a laptop I received but does not work. Absolutely ridiculous for 3 weeks I have not been able to use it. The reason being is that I did not telephonically phone the call Centre within 10 days to say the laptop is faulty and that windows 10 has crashed, but rather I went within 6 days to a Vodacom outlet to be told windows had crashed. I would have most probably gone on the day or the following day but due to having covid, , I was still under quarantine. Have now been told this is a common problem with the Mecer Guru so hence Vodacom is needing to get rid of their stock to unsuspecting clients whilst making a fortune on cancellation fees to their customers. Hell it sounds so good when you speaking to a Consultant and all the excitement when receiving your purchase and boom, just like that you are so let down and then out of pocket. It took them 6 days to return the call from my previous complaint, but guess that is their processes. When trying to phone the number given to sort out the laptop, was on the line for ever with the message 'please hold on, all agents are busy.'. What is that already telling you about their product/s.
