On 21/09/2025 I took a contract with Vodacom and the quoted invoice said that for the month of September I would be prorated from the 22/09/2025 till 30/09/2025 of an amount of R382.67. On 07/11/2025 I called in to change my debit order date from the 1st of every month to the 20th of every month. When this was done I had asked the consultant by the name of Nellie, if I would be debited on 20/11/2025, she said no my next debit would be 20/12/2025 because I’m billed in arears so the debit that went of on 03/11/2025 was for October and the debit that goes of on 20/12/2025 will be for November which made absolute sense. However there was an attempted debit on 20/11/2025 which was unsuccessful because I did not have funds in my account since I was told I will not be debited on 20/11/2025. So on 22/11/2025 I called in and spoke to an *********** agent by the name of Lindiwe who had no understanding of what I was explaining to her and felt that if she kept repeating the same thing to me it would be accepted. I explained my situation to her and she said the pro rated amount for September was activation fees and I’m still liable to pay the full amount (R835.99) for the month of September which was debited on 01/10/2025. I said this is *****ulent since I did not receive the full months service because I only started the contract on 22/09/2025. She then goes on to tell me that that is their agreement policy. Firstly, I was not informed of this and secondly it’s blank *****. She then says that the amount that was debited on 03/11/2025 was for October and their invoices are created at the 1st of each month so the debit that was attempted in 20/11/2026 was also for October. I then asked her for a supervisor email address because I want to take it which she provided me. I emailed the *********** supervisor Nomathemba Sibanyoni (***) and explained her the situation and attached my quote invoice and below was her reply: “Good day

Thank you for the email.

On the attached Quote it shows that you were assisted at the vodacom shop. Kindly go to the store regarding the below query and escalate with them.

Regards N” Why in earth do they have a customer service contact centre if they going to tell customers to go back to the store and resolve the issue when the store didn’t create the issue!? They are *********** and *****ulent rogues.

Nomathemba Sibanyoni, the *********** supervisor of the *********** agent Lindiwe
