A special thank you to Vodacom for continuing the proud South African tradition of charging customers for services they can't actually use.

Dear Vodacom, can someone please explain why my fibre goes down EVERY SINGLE MONTH END?

Since moving into my property on 1 March 2026, my fibre service has been disconnected on either the 30th, 31st, or 1st of the month without fail. This has now happened repeatedly, and every month I have to log support requests, explain the same issue, and then sit without internet for days while Vodacom tries to sort out a problem that clearly should have been fixed months ago.

Previous reference numbers: SR*** SR*** SR*** SR***

What makes this even more frustrating is that I pay my account every month, yet I am the one left without service while Vodacom "investigates" the same recurring issue over and over again.

I've had fibre services at previous properties and never experienced anything like this. At this point, it's obvious that there is a serious problem somewhere within Vodacom's systems or processes.

How many times must a customer report the same issue before a permanent solution is implemented?

I would appreciate someone from Vodacom actually taking ownership of this matter and providing a permanent fix instead of another temporary resolution.

Yeah, right.
Let me guess: I'll be contacted, told the matter has been escalated, asked to wait 24 to 48 hours, and then next month we'll repeat the exact same process all over again.
The problem isn't that the issue hasn't been escalated. The problem is that it has supposedly been escalated multiple times already, yet the same fault continues to occur every single month.
At some point, Vodacom needs to stop treating recurring failures as isolated incidents and start fixing the underlying problem. I'm not looking for another reference number. I'm looking for a permanent solution.

Still no answer from Vodacom and no feedback. Fibre still off and Vodacom does not have a care in the world!
