A simple Sim Swop too difficult for Vodacom

Yesterday 13 December I drove to Eastgate mall to try to do a sim swop. I was advised by the Vodacom shop that systems were down and that they could not do sim swops.

Later that afternoon I drove back to the store only to experience the worst service at the Big store opposite incredible connection so decided to leave without having being helped.

I went to the smaller store next to Samsung and they said they could help me. They apparently did the sim swop and i paid R70 and left.

By this morning my sim wasnt active so I called 082 111 and spoke to someone named Akhona who seemed to have no clue what she was doing and even if she was a new recruit, had no business taking calls. She was unable to assist me.

I then remembered I had the number of the CEO's desk and called Lindi who said she would help me and get back to me. Two and a half hours later I still have no feedback and my line is still not active.

Either vodacom has major technical problems or simply employs the most *********** people in the Service industry but I am perplexed by how they are still a viable business concern.

I am writing this as a last resort with the hope that even one employee of Vodacom has a clue and can address the simple matter of a sim swop.
