A lie?

<p>Contacted 111 a while ago about getting a new data contract. Service agent gave the option of R169 for 4gb or R199 for 5gb on a 24 month contract. Chose the 5gb option and received a quote for the contract to begin on 1 October. Quote: 1- ********** 7321. Order number: 1- ********** 7385. </p> <p> </p> <p>Today the contract got activated at R259 p/m. Called 111 and the service agent said the original quote was probably a lie. He said he would investigate and call back 30mins later. He did not.</p> <p> </p> <p>Whether or not the original quote was a lie is not the point. Honour your quotations. Listen to the original call recording if you have to. Do not punish your clients if your staff lie to them.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please have this rectified immediately.</p> <p> </p> <p> ********** 453</p>
