A fish stinks from the Head down.......

I have 3 devices with Vodacom being 2 cellphones and 1 Data package for my home PC ,this cost me over R1000.00 per month . 5 months ago my data package came to the end of its 24 month term and nobody contacted me from Vodacom so it just went on a month to month basis for that particular R249.00 contract . So far so good . Then I phoned them on ********** to explain that the tis contract was expired and i could get a better deal elasewhere . I was told that they would send me a new Router / Modem to my home address and reduce the payment to R209.00 per month. I agreed to this . Then the nightmare started ....they sent a modem twice to the wrong address by courier ( Ram ) and gave them the router cell number to phone me at the gate !! . I have tried to explain to them that my router does not accept phone calls but they were told and made aware of both my wifes and my cell numbers . This has gone on for months now with hours spent on the phone to call centres who have people who dont care about the customer at all . No follow ups nothing . I then phoned the CEOs office and was dealt with by a lady called Xoliswa Matele whos only response was that they would cancel the contract !! No talk of resolution at all . My wife then phoned another lady who has assisted me before ( and I gave her rave reviews on this site ) her name being Zanele Vokwane . Zanele promised to phone my wife back and was aware of my emails . Nothing from her so I phoned to speak to her twice yesterday and was told she is busy and will phone me back ....guess what ? Nothing at all . My question is that why does a massive company like Vodacom not care at all about the customer . It can only be an Instruction from the CEO Mr Mohamed Joosub to get rid of as many customers as possible as he is to busy to deal with such a large Corporate company . My R12.000 a year contract is nothing to him or any Vodacom customers but if about 250000 customers cancelled their contracts maybe he would get out of his office and find out what was going on before he gets fired from his cushy job. Its time that the head of corporates got off their backsides and found out what was happening with the incompetant staff they employ . Absolutely disgracefull service from an International service provider . Let people cancel their contracts and then see the margins plumet .
