A **** currently ongoing in Vodacom, please beware!

Vodacom has literally become the worst now. I have to do this because the number of people falling victim to this are way too many and they aren't doing anything about it.

On the 20th of November, someone called into Vodacom and requested a SIM Swap to be done on my number, and it was quickly passed to my surprise.

Since I didn't have a 2FA activated on my WhatsApp, they proceeded to access my WhatsApp account, messaged people pretending to be me and acted like they were in distress asking for money.

Two people gave in and sent the person/people money. I've been trying to request the recording of the person that called into Vodacom and requested a SIM Swap for my number. The fact that they are still continuing, and ****ming more people even sends shivers down my spine because how do these people pass security checks that only I as the owner of the number can only know?

I was then asked to go and open a case for the call recording to be released, and went ahead and did exactly that. After I've done that now, the recording suddenly doesn't exist. Now they are saying the person contacted them via a virtual chat. And still, even if that's the case, I want to see how that person answered those questions in a sense that they made it past security checks.
