A bunch of *******!!!

I moved into a new apartment in August 2021 and It was only supposed to be for a month then move again to my permanent place beginning of September. Prior to the move, I had consulted Vodacom regarding their fibre deals. The sales consultant advised that since I will be moving again I should sign up for a month to month contract it will be easy to cancel as they only require a month’s fee for cancellation to take place so I signed up.

Fibre was supposed to be installed on the 1st of August but after a lot of hussles it was only installed 10days later. End of August I called Vodacom to cancel , couple of days later they sent me an invoice stating that I owe 3500, I queried this and they insisted that’s what I owed and U needed to authorize it in order for them to process the cancellation.

860 was deducted from my account end of September, I was ok with this amount because it covered the pro rata for August and the month’s fee for cancellation. The invoice for 3500 did not go away I have explained to several call centre agencies that I was never told about the 3500 when I signed up. Vodacom still deducts money from my account for services that Im no longer using. Im not using their fibre anymore but they debit my account every month. No cancellation has been done.
