8 contract cancellations to no avail

With my contract coming to an end and having decided to move providers, I did the correct thing and cancelled my contract on the 29th of March (1 month prior to it running for 24 months). I did this through the cancellation number *** which i now know off by heart. Come the 1st of May, my contract ticks over and was not cancelled. I phoned the cancellations department again and they said I would have to pay for the full month. Agrieved, I spoke with a manager by the name of Bryan. He informed me that their systems were faulty and he would put the cancellations through on the 4th of May. Low and behold, come the 4th of May and the contract wasn't cancelled. SO i phoned again. This time the lady helped me and said the number had been cancelled and that I would now be moved to pre-paid to allow for my sim swop. It is now the 9th of May and my contract is still running whilst I have already taken a contract out with another provider. I have left 6 messages for Bryan to call me and every consultant says they have put a sticky note on his desk (his desk must be smothered in these). I am unable to port my number as I still appear as a Vodacom contract customer. And to top it all off, i'm 99% sure I will get debited for this month due to their negligence. This is the WORST service I have ever received and if I have to phone the cancellations number and wait on hold for 20 minutes at a time, I am literallly going to go mad. If BRYAN could phone me sometime to atleast tell me when my number will be taken off contract and follow up on reversing my debit order, this would be truly remarkable. I had no complaints with Vodacom prior to this, now I will not recommend them to anyone. And Bryan, I hope you can breath under all those sticky notes.
