75% cancellation fee

I contacted Vodacom to query on cancellation procedures and fees applicable. They advised me a 75% cancellation fee would need to charged in order to cancel. This is absolutely ridiculous. According to the consumer protection act a provider may charge the reasonable fee to cancel. This is far from reasonable as i cannot cancel if this is the fee as it is greater than my monthly salary therefore almost forcing me to withdraw my request. Surely this is *******. To charge the prorata for the actual device and a months fee is reasonable. What they require is absolutely unacceptable.<br> i hope you can assist in this matter
