7 to 14 working days??????

Good Day

I lost my job back in January due to the contract being over, so I got behind on my Vodacom account and had no way to pay. Got a better permanent job offer in April and started getting back on to my feet. By the time my vodacom was already suspended.

So I phoned them on the 21st of May of this month to get the out standing amount due, And promptly paid my account in full to get my account up and running again. According to the Very Nice lady at Accounts all my Sim's and Phones will be working in the next 24 hours. That was not the case. I phoned again on the 23th to follow up why my phones where still not working but the sim cards are all working fine. Only to find out I need to talk to the people at collections and that they have to send a request to UnBlacklist my phones. So I spoke to a Lady at collections, again very nice and very helpful. Gave her all my Phones Imei's and that she need to send a request to have the devices unblacklisted and have to wait 24hours. Again very Happy with that.

Here is where the fun starts...

Friday on the 24th I did a follow up to check if all is in order. Only to find out is going to take 24 to 48 working hours for the unblacklisting. Ok? Phoned the Monday on 27th to follow up again. My devices are still Blacklisted. So... I phoned again on the 28th to be told no, The turn around time for unblacklisting takes 7 to 14 working days.

So here's the question that not one single sole at vodacom can answer me.

"Why 7 to 14 working days?"

Im very upset with this. Im paying in full for 5 devices that's is blacklisted. Im I going to be compensated for this? I doubt it.

Before sending this review I checked my devices again and all is still blacklisted. 29/05/2019 So the message I have here for Vodacom, Educate your call center agents so that they give the right INFO before hand!
