6 months no cancellation

I have been trying to cancel one of my Vodacom fibre lines since January 2022.

I gave my 30 day notice on 27 January 2022 and my last debit order should have been in February 2022. I called and I was told that I was sent an email to proceed with the cancellation, when they check on the system, the email was sent but there was no attachment to proceed with cancellation (error done by Vodacom). I was then told that they are proceeding with the cancellation and they will proceed with removing me from billing system to no longer be billed for the fibre line.

Come end of March, I am billed again for the same line that was supposed to be cancelled. I called again and was told that that they have raised a billing query as it’s showing that the line is cancelled on the system and they do not understand why I am still being billed. I was given an SR number upon that query and no one can still tell me what the issue is. I have been struggling to cancel this line for 4 months now and I still have no help from Vodacom because no one can tell me what the real problem is. I was told that the line is cancelled and if I get billed again at the end of April what will happen then? I gave my termination notice in January and I haven’t used the line since February and I have essentially been paying for something that isn’t used.

Can someone please assist??

Why is cancelling a fibre line such a mountain to climb?? It’s been 4 months with this ongoing battle and I’m frustrated. Please help!!!!!!!!

I AM STILL HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE ON 1 JUNE 2022!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
