6 Hellopeter reviews in 27 days and still not resolved - Time to cancel the contract

27 days ago i posted the following:

"

I struggled the past 2 months to get a new contract, and since i've got one now, the problems does'nt seem to stop. When i registered for a new contract (i have three on my name, and this one is for my father who i'm switching from virgin mobile) i was told that the system changed and that i can't do a number port online anymore and that i need to go to a vodacom shop. They also told me not to put the vodacom sim card in my phone, as it will trigger the activation of a new number, before porting.

So this afternoon i went to a vodacom shop and they told me that they can't do a number port as it's already been activated and that they suggest i call the customer care line. The customer care line also can't help me in this regard..

"

Update on the 29th of March:

Last week Vodacom contacted me and assured me that they will resolve this issue as soon as possible. They promised a couple of things and asked that i send the phone and sim card back, so a new one can be issued. Not really sure why the phone must be sent back?

They instructed me to buy a pay as you go sim card in the meantime, so that they can start with the porting service. Theytold me i can buy a sim card without Rica'ing it. I went to 2 shops (Checkers and Ackermans) and both shops didint want to sell a sim card without it being rica'd. When i contacted the vodacom agent, she instructed me to go to a vodacom shop. Once again, they wanted me to Rica.. I contacted the agent again on last week Thursday and since then , 3 emails was sent without any reply. It's unacceptable that after this horific service, i'm being sent to stores just to waste my time and money and that no one is getting back to me.

So after 28 days, still no reply, but i'm already paying for a contract i'm not using??

What will happen to my R400 airtime and 5gig of data ?

Please let someone from senior management call me as this is totally unacceptable.

Regards,
