It was a cold summer morning... JOKE..

I bought an LG G4 last year around August. Because I know of the out of bundle data issues I had with my previous phone, HTC, ON the day of opening the contract, I made sure a limit was added as well as all the guidance steps to ensure I don't use data out of the bundle.

This includes:

Deleting Facebook

Disabling Auto Updates

Following guides to limit google use.

Buying data when I know I am using a lot, if possible multiple times.

And guidance from the initial FOH to limit data use.

Previously this year, I had a case where I got a bill of over R800 PHONE IMMEDIATELY WENT INTO SOFT LOCK.

That said, I went into the branch, phoned the accounts people and got helped to sort out the issue slowly, but we got there about 15 working days later.

I made sure the limit was active and that I should get notifications om my account towards data usage. They TOLD me it will work and that I don't have to worry about similar problems in the future. But because this was the 3rd time it happened, I almost always switched my data off when I go to sleep, Permanently hunt for wifi and if I really need data, I'll purchase a bundle.

We then experienced a problem where Vodacom had issues sending us our account statements, and 6 devices went into a soft lock on the accounts involved due to no payment- WITH no statements received. We phoned them and 20 days later got the last device back to normal. Same thing happened the month after.

Back to May and June. I got a whopping account of over R1400 and for June OVER R1000. That said I also moved to Johannesburg as I got a new area manager position, and not having a working phone would be FATAL. on the 1st OF JUNE after suspecting such troubles, I logged a query to Sydney at Vodacom in Highveld mall Witbank. I even shared my snacks with him and he reassured me he will be on it, he will help me sort this out, he will follow up. Good ok... The first prompted response was SET TO THE 20th OF JUNE. On the 19th I phoned Sydney, who gave me his manager's number and I ASKED him to please keep the device active AS I NEED IT, and a soft lock for this problem is unacceptable.

WHO cares, VODACOM soft locked my device, and I was left in a new city, trying to find my way back to my new apartment, ending up driving a 40KM loop. THANKS FOR THAT ONE. .

The fact is I made communication multiple times to find out why YOUR SYSTEM doesn't work and why no one bothered phoning me, helping me resolve the issue, So we can pay what was purchased and what is ( Out of bundle data) that was not my fault.

I asked the Manager, Jack, I pleaded with Sydney and I called Accounts twice... NO ONE GOT BACK TO ME...

How, the **** do you expect me to be a HAPPY customer with such service. Seriously.. Vodacom. you are sure I know more about all this on social media. It's the worst experience with a service provider I have ever had. Vodacom and your Highveld team really left me for dead and now I have extra expenses just to get buy. Thanks..

Now I don't know about anyone else, but this feels like a company waiting to nail me even though I still pay my account of R1400 a month standard. THATS a **** load of money to leave such queries without resolving anything.

I expect these out of bundle data to be reversed and an accurate bill sent to how much is outstanding. I also want SOMEONE HIGHER than the **** *********** store to mail me and call the account holder ASAP.
