5 month old phone in for repairs 4 times
I recently took out a new contract with on the 8 April 2015 at Vodacom Old Fort Road and chose a Sony Xperia M2 Aqua. My trouble started the very next month.
The device switched off and was.booked in on 18 May 2015 and was told it will be sent in to Sony Johannesburg ( job no ***).
2nd time and booked in on 1 June 2015 (job no ***).
3rd time and booked in on 17 July 2015 (job no ***).
4th time and booked in on 18 August 2015 (job no ***). It once again had been \REPAIRED"and is at Vodacom Old Fort Road for collection.
I've got this contract for 4 Months and it has been sent in for repairs every month. Am i expected to carry on like this for the duration of this contract. Every trip to the store costs me in excess of R150.00 and i've done this 7 times as well as a few hours of lost time at work.
I've been in contact with the store and they will not replace this device and says its is up to sony to make that call. Vodacom customer care cannot help. Sony refuses to replace it. I refuse to be dealt this hand and will be taking this matter to the consumer council. THE WORST DECISION TO JOIN VODACOM."""
