4 years of issues and counting

Currently sitting in Vodacom, tried to upgrade three 24 month old iPhones (me, and both my sisters). We had the same problem in April 2014, when our Sony Xperias needed upgrading. They refused us an upgrade until I proved to them with an instagram photo wit
h the date attached (April 2012) that we indeed had the phones for 24 months. Assuming the issue was resolved as Vodacom gave us the three iPhones.

However when we arrived today to upgrade, after speaking to several employees, and also proving our ownership of the iPhone for 24 months (again with an instagram photo that is still up on the website/app), we were told we can only upgrade when the contract is 21 months old (very pecu**** as we haven't heard this before), then after probing and questioning to understand exactly how this works, Busisiswe consulted another employmee (manager is not on site), she said that the contracts and the cellphones age separately, and that she explained it wrong previously, so if the phone is 24months old you can upgrade it, and it separately, if the contract is 24 months old then you can upgrade it separately. So we told her it's fine, and asked her to upgrade the iPhones. *Continue in commen
