4 Gigs of data just "gone"

I have a 5 gig/ wifi router contract with Vodacom. Today I got a message that I'm out of data. I transferred 2 gig via Internet banking, but nothing reflected. Thinking it is my bank taking its time, my boyfriend sent 2 gig to my wifi nr. It immediately reflected. I started working again (mark online assignments for a University). 10 min later - I got a message that my data is depleted. I've been marking online for 5 years now. 5 gig usually lasts me a month. I have phoned Vodacom who told me it will take 24-48 hours to investigate! This is my job! I spent R500 on data today that just disappeared! Do I tell Vodacom, "oh, I'll pay my account 24-48 hours after it's due"? So as a paying, loyal customer I must accept this answer from you and put my job on hold??? I want to know where my data went! Surely you can access the pages I go onto and see what I'm saying is the truth. 24-48 hours is ridiculous! Ref nr: 1- ********** 4133

And, we have reached 48 Hours - and no contact from Vodacom. More evidence of the lack of service which I can report when I complain to ICASA.

I phoned Vodacom Thursday 18/0 @ 21:19. Despite thier "We will contact you within 24 - 48 hours, I've heard nothing. Not even a call to say they are still investigating. So yesterday I bought another 2 gigs. That means I've paid R750 for 2 gig of data in total. As I've mentioned before, I mark for a University. I have a commitment towards those students, and could not wait any longer on a reply from you. Quality service is something I deem important - something you clearly don't care too much about. I read your "What we live for" statement on your website. Maybe you need to review what you have stated on there (because your customer service is clearly lacking), or you need to re-train staff on what kind of service they are supposed to be delivering. My opening email to the Students this morning will be that I apologise for 3 days of no communication bacause of Vodacom's lack of service delivery, which held me up.
