3rd Request via HelloPeter (30th request via Call Centre, 5 email's to Vodacom Customer Care, email to CEO)

I’ve had no luck in in getting any assistance from all channels I’ve tried with Vodacom.

My escalation is simple but apparently yet so complicated.

I’ve reach my Contract life which I would have liked to upgrade my phone. I’ve requested for a Samsung Note 5. I’ve been helped over the phone and the Call Centre Agent responded to say that I will receive my phone in the next 2-3day (Which was the 8th of August 2016). After waiting a week I decided to call back but only got told that the phone is in back-order. Yet no one can tell me if they will get the phone in or when do they anticipate to get stock for this phone.

After this call I decided to call back and cancel the Note 5 and maybe look at some other phones which is available and affordable.

This is where the issues come in. I call for the last week every morning to hear if the phone is cancelled only to hear that it’s never been cancelled. I can’t order a new phone seeing that the Note 5 is on back order and I would need to cancel this order to proceed with a other phone order. Every day when I phone I get confirmation that the order has been cancelled. I leave it for a day and then phone back only to get told that the phone was never cancelled. This is going on for the last week or so hence my email to you.

There is no person you can speak to who can take ownership of this escalation and it seems that the call centre only refers you to areas which eventually lands in a black hole?

Eventually ended up sending a email to Vodacom's CEO which allocated Lerato from the CEO office. She promised me delivery by Monday. And NOTHING. NOT EVEN A CALL.

I Will even make this more simple for Vodacom. Please provide me with a premature cancellation qoute so i can get on from this horrible experience from you.
