3 months later and Vodacom is still taking money from my account *******ly!!

Last year April, an ******* sim swop was done on my data contract with Vodacom and it took months to undo the damage and pay back the money ****** from me. Then in June 2016, the opportunity came to port my existing cellphone contract to Cell-C. I decided to do it due to the bad service received from Vodacom before.

I filled in everything, I sent through all documentation as requested from Vodacom, I payed the money into their account, together with proof of payment and got back confirmation of everything and of the cancellation. So according to my correspondence with them, the port was done successfully.

During the ******* sim swop, they changed my email address. And then my account was frozen by the forensic department during the investigation and I was never able to change back my email address to my own. So I never received statements via email again, but I left it, because no one was able to help me to change my email address and I was anyway only left with my data contract. Or so I thought...

For a year, everything went well, and I didn't think about Vodacom again. Then 3 months ago, suddenly money started to be deducted from Vodacom from my account monthly! After investigation, it came out that whoever was supposed on the Vodacom side to do the final cancellation on my cellphone contract, never did it! So my account just went into a credit with the over R13000 paid by Cell-C and Vodacom just continued to deduct the money happily. Then when the R13000 was depleted, they started to deduct the money from my account!

This is where the fun starts. I have now phoned the call centre 4 times. Each time they acknowledge there was a mistake on their side and promised that it will be resolved or that someone will phone me back. I have resent everything to ********** as requested. But then nothing happened. Then a lady phoned me and gave me her personal email at Vodacom so that I could email her all the documents again, together with an avidavit that I was not using the old Vodacom simcard with the ported number at all. Two weeks have passed again, she didn't acknowledge my emails or rep**** or anything. I am still stuck.

The 1st is around the corner, and Vodacom will again deduct money from my account that doesn't belong to them!! I don't know what to do anymore! I can't speak to one more call centre agent promising me all sort of stuff!! I am paying for a contract I have cancelled more than a year ago!!! Can someone please help me?
