2ND SIM CARD ON HUAWEI P8 LITE

My decision to enter into a new contract with Vodacom was purely based on the fact that I could use 2 sim cards. I have now been struggling for weeks, at my own costs, only to find that the info given to me was incorrect.

I have 2 Vodacom contracts, 1 on a cell phone and 1 on a tablet. My tablet contract expired a few weeks ago and a consultant contacted me and offered me a Huawei P8 light with dual sim card features so that I can use my cell phone sim card and my tablet sim card on one phone. This is incorrect, I cannot get the 2nd sim card to work and the phone does not recognise it.

I hope Vodacom will take accountability and responsibility for this error and fix this or cancel the contract on this phone. This will show if they are serious about business and their customers.

I hope Vodacom educates their sales consultants so that this does not continue to happen.

I has been 2 days now and not even a note or a call to give me feedback. How long do I have to pay for a phone that I cannot use......as long as you receive your money I suppose I will not get an answer??

It is sad that Vodacom departments don't communicate with each other. I have just received my Vodacom account and I am still charged for a contract that Vodacom has agreed to cancel as it was sold to me under incorrect information. I called customer services for assistance and as always spoke to at least two people. The first person told me that he could clearly see that there has been numerous requests to cancel from Vodacom and transferred me to the sales department to fix this. The sales department lady said that they see nothing on their records to cancel the contract and hence the reason why I have to pay. When I told her that I am not going to pay for something that I don't use and something that Vodacom agreed was sold to me under false information (they listened to the original recording) she told me it will reflect badly on my name. No consequences for Vodacom

The bottom line is that after Vodacom has confirmed that it was their mistake, I am still been charged for something that I don't use. I am being penilized for their mistakes.
