22 years with Vodacom, all ends up in disgrace

I signed my business to Vodacom in 1995, 22 years ago without any major issues.

However, on August, 30th, 2016 I went into the Oudtshoorn branch to ask them to cancel one of the mobile numbers on contract and move it to a prepaid. I also informed them I was going abroad the next day. They sent the e-mail and assured me it was done.

However, today (February, 21st, 2016) I returned to the same Vodacom branch, only to find out that the phone number was still listed under my company name AND I was still being billed for it. They informed me that they had sent the e-mail but it was not logged "on the other side." I then called Vodacom Business help myself, where I was first told that the e-mail address they (the Oudtshoorn Vodacom dealer) used was not the correct one for cancelling contracts and their solution was to give me the Oudtshoorn branch's number, but I had just left there - furios.

The number has been logged to go onto prepaid, but I need to be reimbursed for the 6 months where I was left paying and uninformed of the cancellation that had not been processed. Does nobody follow through with this?

Of the 25 years I have been with Vodacom, I would expect far better service. What a disgrace.
