2½ Months trying to change from a contract to pre-paid

An upgrade became available 2016-05-04 and I decided I would like to change to pre-paid (I'm a small business owner and needed more control on expenses.) I was then told at the Craighall Vodashop that I could only change when my contract expires 2016-08-04. I then saw that I could get a quote on a premature cancellation and on 2016 -05-31 I called ********** and was told to call again on 2016-06-06 and was told the cancellation takes place 3 days after payment is made.

On 2016-06-09 when I called ********** they (Sherilyn and Kelly) said I must call ********** for Business retentions/cancellations and fax 011- ********** or email ********** a written request to cancel on a company letterhead together with a copy of my ID. I did that twice and got NO response.

On 2016-06-17 at 15:10 I went back in to the Craighall Vodashop and Tswanelle phoned Sandra(082- 1940) and told me she would email him the premature cancellation quote, which he would forward to me. NOTHING HAPPENNED!

As a result, this phone hasn't been used and I wait until the contract expires - or will it??? I've been paying for something we havent been using. It would really help if someone could just change my contract to pre-paid with immediate effect! I look forward to any response.

Reviewer Update

Action at last, will update when it has followed through. Star rating is rising, slowly.

Consultant called me yesterday and emailed me a quote this morning. I accepted, signed and returned the required docs, lets wait and see.

I do suggest anyone with Vodacom problems try this route - the consultant even calls you!

Nice work "hellopeter!"
