1GB data sale a Rip-Off
Vodacom data sale a rip-off. You buy data for R80 and it gets you 1GB. But that 1GB flies as quickly as you bought it. I have bought this promo before and my data usage has not increased but the rate at which the data flies has. What is more concerning is that on numerous occasions (I at first thought it was once off) the data depletes and I receive a message that I have x amount of data left...while I am on Wifi and my data is switched off!!!!! This is very troubling. Vodacom seems to want to force customers to buy the more expensive 1GB data instead of the R80. Very unhappy and this comes from a loyal customer since 2003!!!!!

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. Kindly be advised that data doesn’t just disappear. It’s either being used by open applications, updates, auto video downloads or pictures. You are the owner of your device and should monitor your usage via a Data Monitoring App. There are self-help options available for you to be able to check your data bundle balance via *111# or the My Vodacom App. In most smartphones there is an option to view consumption of data. You can do the follow below to confirm what consumed your data bundle: Android Devices: Go to settings, Tap on Data Usage and the list of Apps which utilized the data will appear there.
