17 years a client and vodacom doesn't care...

Vodacom randomly change pay dates by defaulting back to old systems. No one is "able" to help the client (me). Because al they can do is read the prompts on their call center screens and are not actually empowered to make any difference to the client. Client has to pay the R200 / R300 penalties incurred that vodacom initiates for the bounced debit orders they messed up due yo changing pay dates. So after talking to their staff on the phone for over 30 mins the client still physically has to go somewhere to rectify their problem. On top of this I the client have had to spend a couple of hundred rand buying data and airtime to stay connected this past month as that all inexplicably was "used" up without me doing so...I said I am paying for services not delivered to which I was told I have to log a complaint with the client care department and gently offered " we will not be able to resolve this on this call " implying I should get off the phone. Client of 17 years...simply stumped!!! Think the Ombudsman may be more inclined to take this seriously - if vodacom is doing this to me they are doing this possibly to thousands of customers. Imagine every R100 collected for "errantly" bounced debit orders across the vodacom client book. SARS may even be interested in taking a look at those numbers.
