13 days later, I still have received my parcel, not even a courtesy call from Vodacom
I have app**** for an upgrade on my contract on the 07/09/2020. I posted a review here on the 12/09/2020 to indicate how unhappy I was with the level of service I received from both vodacom and Ram. I was promised by Vodacom in response to my review that I would receive a call from one of their dedicated Team members, I waited for the call in vein until I decided to follow up on to be told that my parcel would be delivered and my address had been updated. Tuesday, I received a call from Ram driver confirming that he had my parcel for delivery, I told him I was not at work but would not mind to drive there just to receive my parcel, he was uncomfortable telling me there approximate time for security reasons, which I understood and respected, when I asked him further questions so we could agree on terms he hung up and never called back, I followed with Ram and was told I would get a call back after investigation which I never got, I tracked my parcel on their website it shows the parcel was delivered to the client's address on 18/09/2020, I was home in Limpopo attending to a funeral from Wednesday 17/09/2020 until I returned to Gauteng today, I never got a call from either Vodacom nor Ram since Tuesday. To date I still await my parcel, I'm so much disappointed. Countless times I have asked to speak to managers and team leaders at Vodacom but they always refused, at some stage one team leader by the name of Christopher Monyai also refused to speak to me over the phone twice, promising to return my call which he never did. I use my airtime to contact Ram and the Vodacom ***, I get charged and am really tired of following up as if they are doing me a favor. I pay so much for their services and deserve better. I don't do business directly with Ram, but I deserve better from both, they are in partnership because I do business with one of them. People are sitting in the offices doing nothing and getting paid while tarnishing images of the companies they work for. Covid 19 taught us we need to value our jobs and work Hard to sustain the businesses in future unforeseen circumstances, I should be valued and treated with dignity and respect. I demand Compensation for my airtime from Vodacom, as well as compensation for the inconvenience caused in the past 12 days.
