*** ********** upgrade
On 28th December 2017 I went to Vodacom to upgrade my cell contract just to be told that a SIM upgrade was done on 13th December. When contacting Vodacom on the same day to query this, I was told that I must phone back on the 2nd of January when the Agent who did the upgrade (Nasiel Ismail) will be back. On 3rd of January it took me 3 hours to get thru to the Agent who informed me that I agreed telephonically on the 13th of December to do a SIM upgrade. I requested a copy of the recording where I agreed to this as I have NOT even spoken to the Agent in question. I then received a call from Vodacom Call Centre to discuss this issue with me whereupon again I was informed that the Agent spoke to me - perhaps I just did not understand him !!!! NO I DID NOT SPEAK TO ANY AGENT OF VODACOM. Why will I want to upgrade my contract if I agreed to upgrade only my SIM? The Call Centre then informed me that I must wait until the 8th of January when the Admin Department will be back from leave and they will investigate, whereafter they will decide what to do about the transaction. There is no way I am willing to wait until the 8th of January. I will lay a charge of ***** against the Agent in question and VODACOM for doing transactions on my account that I did not agree on.
