Virseker is a Disaster

My house was destroyed by fire on 15 Sept 2018. Virseker required a quote for replacement which I submitted. They also sent a contractor. First Virseker informed me that I was 7% under insured. The next sentence they informed me that the claim amount approved by them is 22% less than my quote. They also informed me they do not take the customer's quote in consideration. I objected because I know the cost of my house. I built it myself. I asked for a detailed quote regarding materials that they are going to use as well as the quality of finishing applicable. Virseker agreed to provide it if I provide a detailed quote from my contractor which they are not taking in consideration. Reason: to compare apples with apples and to make sure their contractor quoted correctly. I refused because they already have decided on the amount and if I had taken it, nothing else would have happened. I will not concede to an amount unless I know what I get for it. Virseker informed me today they will not provide the detail quote and they also will not tell me what will happen if the contractor cannot complete the house with the money they approved. They are not customer friendly and the stories they tell you are amazing. I also battle to get my alternative accommodation payments from them. They do not react on any e-mail and they even do not communicate with my broker. Is this the kind of insurer you want on your side when you lose everything? It is now nearly four months.
