Unauthorized Virseker Debit Orders – FNB Cannot Reverse
I cancelled my car insurance with Virseker at the end of November 2025 because of their 15% increase in the monthly premium from 01 January 2026. I was unable to access their app as the keeps on telling me I don't have a policy there. I have sent them in an email that I'm cancelling the contract due to the increase. Still this month they deducted the premium and FNB is unable to reverse it as Virseker has a block on it so that the banks is unable to reverse it. This is unacceptable and has caused financial inconvenience. I demand:
Immediate cancellation of all debit orders linked to Virseker.
Written confirmation that no further deductions will occur.
Refund of the last unauthorized deduction.
If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will escalate to the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance and the Banking Ombudsman.
Desired Outcome: Stop all future deductions and refund the amounts already taken.
