Pathetic/*********** ***** mentality from Virseker

I had the displeasure of dealing with Virseker! A few weeks ago there were very strong winds blowing in the Cape. My outside perimeter wall collapsed under the constant force of the wind. There were many a tree that fell over due to the sheer force of the wind. So i send an e-mail to Virseker and the call me bright and early the next morning. I was impressed by the quick response! That was where impressive ended! They told me an assessor was to contact me within 24hra to arrange a time for the assessment. Nobody called me for 48hrs! I had to constantly call Virseker to find out when this person is coming to see me. At no point do they keep you in the loop. Eventually this fool came to my house for 5 minutes and left. They had 48hrs to submit the report to Virseker. I was very patient and left them to do their thing. The person who was assigned to handle my claim never once made contact and I had to phone them every single time. I saw on the website that the claim was settled and called them. The consultant was again not available to help me and I heard that they was only willing to pay out over R6000 and then deduct the R1700 excess and I will get around R4600. This absolutely infuriated me as all the quotes I received to rebuild my wall was over R11k. I immediately cancelled my policy with these *****es and just want to warn people not to fall for their adverts on TV as they only care about not paying out claims and providing pathetic service to clients.
