Do not specify items as they will not pay out the value

I have had a ring specified for 6 plus years with them and always payed my installments. Never claimed anything from them in history at all.

When my wife lost the wedding ring, they treated us as if we are lying to them. The ring was valued and insured for an amount given to us from the company that made the ring, and it was insured for that, and I double checked by doing a valuation with another company.

When I claimed they had their own supplier for rings that could do it at R25 000 cheaper than we insured it for and the valuation. Their supplier had below standard rings and quality. In the end they payed out R 26 000 les than insured value and I had to pay their supplier R 500 rand for sending whatsapp pictures to us of rings available.

This is not how you do business and then why do you specify and do valuations of products just for them to pay out what they think is the value.
