Why am i being listed

Hi Hello.peter<br> <br> In 2008 I opened a Virgin mobile account and in 2009 I had difficulty paying off my account of which I was handed over to collection department and eventually to their lawyers, In 2010 after lots of phone calls and letters I explained my situation to my parents and gratefully agreed to assist me out of the mess I had put my self in and eventually they managed to pay it off in 2011.<br> Since then I've managed to buy myself a house, car and keep a healthy credit record, two days back I went to a Vodacom outlet to apply for a cellphone contract for my fiance and was told that my application was rejected since am owing Virgin mobile. Needless to say I was very angry and disappointed and managed to call their call-centre and was told that my account is with the lawyers and that I must pay R510.14 or I can settle for R250 asked them to send me a statement to show when last did I pay and what was the balance. they when told me that the previous law firm did not leave any data and that my receipts wont count for anything and all I was do is just pay off the money am owing.<br> I explained to them that I found it unjust and unfair to pay off the account for the second time.
