virgin mobile deactivating my number of 10 years

Virgin Mobile South Africa has advised me that they have de-activated my number
This has been done without my consent or notification of expiration. It was a number i ported over from MTN which I have used for more than 10 years.

Apparently support says I have to top-up my phone every month in order to keep my number. I understand the policy that a number will be de-activated if no activity for 120 days -- I have tried recharging , however unable to do so via ussd or unable to make calls --

This is unacceptable, at least tell your customer when they are at risk of losing their valued cell number, don't just go ahead and tell me you are disconnecting me from network --

I have never received any notification regarding expiring.

I am still receiving calls and sms's , no outgoing

Sort this out ASAP
