Handed over for the 2nd time in 6 years

My wife entered into a contract with virgin mobile, possibly the biggest mistake of our married life! In November 2010 she cancelled her contract following the process laid out by Virgin mobile. In April 2011 we queried and were given written confirmation that the account was settled and no further funds were owed. One would assume that would be the end of it...unfortunately anything but! In 2012 we received a call from a collection agency, apparently she had been handed over for collection. After weeks of fighting and harassing phone calls from their collection agents they confirmed in writing that they had erroneously handed the account over and black listed my wife. They again confirmed in writing that they would immediatly close the account and withdraw the listing...end of the story....not quite. Today, we get a call again from a collection agency confirming once again that my wife's account has been handed over for collection and that she has once again been blacklisted. The absolute incompetency showen time after time by virgin mobile is mind blowing!
