Had to load data / airtime x 17 times (Total cost R1945) over a period of 20 days + where has all my data gone to???????

What a load of bullocks! This is unacceptable. Where has all my data gone??????

As mentioned in my Memorable title - I had to load data / airtime x 17 times (Total cost R1945) over a period of 20 days + where has all my data gone to??????? where only a hand full of calls were made, no applications was downloaded, only used it for mobile fbook / messenger and as mobile hotspot to enable me to be active on the company that I work for - facebook and linkedin pages. How is this possible? This is not acceptable. I had to keep loading and then before I know it, I had to load again, and again and again, and the loading just continued. I have a screen shot of my FNB statement of all the purchases I made for data / airtime. This is unacceptable, and ****************! I would please like a full breakdown of the exact costs (what took how much data etc.) Never in my life have I ever had to purchase such a large amount of data to make use of my phone / as a mobile hotspot! Your urgent feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi reabekker123

Thank you for your query.

As per our system only 4 x 600MB data bundles have been purchased in the last 20 days. If you are using your handset as a hotspot, it could be that the other device automatically updated apps/software once wifi was switched on.

We can not however confirm as to which sites were browsed. You may have a look on your handset under data usage. This will reflect data usage for each application.

Once the data bundle is finished, your browsing session will continue and will be charged from your airtime. Out of bundle rates are 99c per megabyte. Please ensure that you always have enough data bundles loaded as surfing out of bundle is much more expensive.

Kind Regards

Alicia

Hi Alicia,
I beg to differ. Your system is incorrect!!! And not showing the correct information.
I know that I have loaded 1 GB's multiple times, you know, the R150 option?
Please do not belittle me, and make it sound as if I am making this information up. I would be aware of what I did, and I made use of this data for work purposes. Would have been much better if Virgin Mobile could just send you a msg stating that you just purchased a certain amount of data, as you do with the airtime, instead of a quick pop up msg stating "congratulations you have just loaded ----- of data and it will expire in the next ----- days"
I have gone onto my user account history - and would have loved to attach the document to this conversation showing all the data that has been used - HOWEVER, it is 100s of pages. And I know for a fact that it was data purchased, and not airtime used, because of the fact that I actually do receive a msg stating that I only have 10mb's left. And normally as soon as I receive this msg, I switch off my data, and purchase more date. because of the fact that out of data bundle rates are high.
This is ABSOLUTE ****************, and an absolute ****!
I will not recommend Virgin Mobile to any individual!
