Disputed Contract
I was phoned by Virgin Mobile in the middle of 2013 to offer me a cell phone contract, but few days later I phoned them to cancel the contract. I was assured that the contract was cancelled but to my shock I found out in Feb 2015 that the contract was not cancelled, I immediately phoned Virgin Mobile and I spoke to the lady who said she will make sure that the contract is cancelled as she can see on their system that the contract is still not cancelled, she assured me that this will take a few days but I was surprised days later when I was phoned by a debt company representing Virgin Mobile that my contract is 5 months in arrears I told the lady from the debt company that as far as I know that contract should have been long cancelled and she told me that Virgin Mobile has listed me as a bad/slow payer on credit bureau, I would like them to cancel the contract and remove my name on credit bureau as I have tried to reason with these people but up to no avail

I've tried calling you on the number provided, but there was no answer.
Please note that your account was cancelled on the 30th of June 2014 and that the open invoices was credited in February 2015.
I further confirm that an ITC clearance letter was sent to your FNB account on the 30th of January 2015 and our external debt collectors was instructed to close the file as you are not due to settle funds to the cancelled account.
