Contract phone
I took a Samsung S3 on contract with Virgin mobile in 2013, the phone's screen got damaged and I contacted Virgin mobile to inform them that the phone was damaged and they sent a courier to fetch the phone. My mistake was not to pay for repairs in time but I eventually paid R2800 two to three months later. During this period I was busy with training for work and could not do any correspondences with the company. After depositing the money for repairs I contacted Virgin mobile to enquire when will the phone be delivered to me and two of their \champs"told me that they will enquire and call me back but they never did. The third \""champ\"" told me the phone was sold due to late payment. I reported the company on hello peter and a manager from Virgin mobile tried to offer me a second hand phone provided I pay R2800 for the repairs. Now I have been communicating with debt collectors hired by Virgin mobile and I have to pay R6202 for a phone I never used and a sim card I used for the duration I thought I would be getting my phone back. The situation is totally out of control and I need to reach a solution to all this mess"""
