Cant port a PREPAID number to Vodacom because its not in my name and should've been long ago

Hi.

So I have a huge issue. The number ********** 932, and its contract were transferred into MY name in december. It was in my father in law's name and he came in with me and we moved the contract to my name. Signed all the neccessary documentation, scanned ids, etc. All was OK and the contract would move to my name shortly as advised by one of your "super, rockstar" team members. Now this was in December 2016.

I then proceeded to cancel the contract as well as my contract on the 25th of February. All was OK and the number as well as mine would be transferred to prepaid on the 25th of March 2017 (calendar month).

So once both moved to prepaid on the 25th March 2017 (we both got SMS's welcoming us to VM prepaid), we went into Vodacom, did all documentation, etc. They put in the request to see if the numbers can be ported. Now this is where the problem comes in. They having trouble with THIS exact issue for some reason.

I call VM and find out to my surprise that the number ********** 932 is NOT in my name? HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? As per first paragraph EVERYTHING was done to move it to my name and we were assured all will be done in a week or so.

Another issue I have is this is a Prepaid number, why cant Vodacom secure the number for a port? ISNT that the point of prepaid? I NEVER had this issue when I ported from Vodacom prepaid to VM, why is the VM service abysmal in this regard?

PLEASE sort this out now. This is very fustrating.
