Beware 30 days is not 30 days to Virgin Mobile
Cannot believe Virgin Mobile SA. Have been a customer since 2008, contract has been renewed and offering changed over the years as their offers required changes. The original package was a free sms contract taken out for my deaf mother in law. They stopped this offer a few years back and on renewal we had to change, which was I guess OK.....The real problem comes in now when I give then 30 days notice as stipulated to move to prepaid......guess what No No No....notice given on 5 Nov, service will terminate 5 Dec but will continue to be billed via debit order on 1 Jan AND 1 Feb........someone at Virgin Mobile cannot count what 30days notice means......effectively service will stop in 30days but I will be billed 90days.......amount is insignificant, but a clear example of not doing what they say or advertise, beware in using Virgin Mobile. Would give the call centrer lady 5 stars she was really great in dealing with an irate longstanding customer.
I have been trying to get hold of you on your 083 number but there is no answer.
Please be advised that the old billing cycle is billed 2months in arrears and in your case, the final debit order will be on the 01 February 2021.
Please advise on a convenient time to contact you and explain the billing cycle.
