Advertise handsets but don't have stock

I app**** to upgrade my contract on Saturday 29th August. The contract I signed for was to include the Samsung A3 handset. I was told that the store didn't have stock but would order and the handset would be in Cape Town on Wednesday 2nd September. I called and spoke to Aashieyah the store manager today at 3.15pm. She said that the warehouse did not have stock and she didn't know when stock would become available. They could offer me another Samsung handset but it is for a more expensive contract.<br> I called Johannesburg Virgin Mobile Retentions Dept and spoke to Siswe who basically confirmed the story.<br> It would seem that this is a trick to get one to buy a more expensive contract.<br> It is false advertising. <br> Siswe actually told me that if I was not happy I could go to another company!<br> Bad attitude and total lack of caring for a loyal client who has had a contract for over 10 years.
