Virgin Customer Care does not care

I am a rewards member and purchased a ticket for my son, the airline blocked his checkin and would not allocate him a seat, with no explanation. We have in the last few months flown the following airlines all with seamless online checkin: British Airways, Emirates, Turkish. I phoned Virgin customer care and they would not assist and really did not seem to care making out it was my problem. STAY AWAY FROM VIRGIN ATLANTIC, very poor customer service
