Don't Ever Buy Duty Free Watches On Board A Flight

<p>My husabnd purchased a Karen Millen watch on board a Virgin Atlantic flight in October 2015. The watch comes with a 2 year guarantee. In March 2016 the hands of the watch fell off. I live in South Africa and have been told by the marketing manager in Johannesburg that there is nothing that can be done here to assist me. Even though the watch is under guarantee I must post it back to the UK by registered mail AT MY COST to have them repair the watch. My advice to anyone travelling Virgin Atlantic is don't buy a watch from thier duty free as this is what happens.</p>
