I have bought coffee daily at various stores and today when I got suspicious Muizenberg confirmed they they are offline that they scan the cards knowing the points are not allocated and will never be.<br> <br> This is dishonest. I remember hearing the same off line story when I bought at Green Point.<br> <br> why do you allow dishonesty?

Please accept our sincerest apologies. Admittedly, occasionally we experience connectivity problems due to the lack of infrastructure in some areas. We are currently addressing this issue and seeking realistic solutions. However, each and every staff member has been trained to inform customers should there be connection issues and provide an alternative solution. The alternative solution being manually crediting the MaxiClub card number as soon as the connection is up and running again. The behaviour of our staff not doing so in unacceptable and by no means sets a precedent for what we at vida strive for.
Please note that we do take great care to ensure that our service levels are of the highest standard, however on this occasion it would appear that we have fallen short. We are deeply sorry that we have disappointed you.
