suspicious manager

i was at Vida Canal walk last night, 29th Dec 2017 at about 8:30pm with my family and friends. we bought our coffees and sat outside of the shop. just before 9pm i realised i misplaced my cellphone. i went back into the shop to ask if any of the staff perhaps picked up my phone. no one saw it. i asked the manager, Hlahlo or Hlohla, if there wasn't any security footage i could look at. he said he would look at it in the morning as the shop was about to close and that he would call me today. i found that weird, but how do you force someone to do something and i was not sure what right i had to the footage. we continued to sit on the seating outside of Vida until about 22h15 as we were waiting on my friend's daughter to come back from her outing with a friend. At that point the manager of Vida was still in the shop, so not sure why he could not show me the footage! this morning i called all the shops i had been in last night and all of them were helpful, including Macdonald from Centre management. None of them had my phone. i still have not heard from the Manager of Vida and i cannot get through to the store when i call the landline number.

i really don't care about the phone, its more about my memories and years of personal information on there!!!!
