None payment for service requested

We were doing maintenance work for some of the cafe Vida coffee shops and maybe because of the nature of the business we have not been paid for work we were pleaded to do she a geyser at their Woodstock store broke and they had no water to remain open. We were asked the fix it so they would have cold water in their store which was done. When it became time to pay for work done as per their request we keep receiving stories. We were told payment cycles are on Fridays . which came and went and then Pieter the person who contracted us said he would sort payment the Monday, which again came and went. We were informed then it would be processed the following Friday and again nothing not even a reply till later the following week and again Pieter would sort it out. By the Friday , on the day we were told payment was made at 17:00 and we waited for money to clear only to be told today 3weeks later that Pieter apparently went on leave the week when the payment was made at 17:00 and never authorized the payment and again he promised to sort it today Monday 15/10/2018 and at 21:42 still no money received. Please all small business be very careful of Vida E cafés and Pieter they use small businesses who are desperate to put food on their struggling families tables and don't pay for work done. We were required to run from pillar to post and expected to purchase parts which also was not paid for by this company . A big company not worried about the little guy trying to earn a living
