VeriCred Failing to Remove Debt Review Status – NCR Non-Compliance

I am extremely frustrated with VeriCred Credit Bureau regarding the removal of my debt review status.

My Debt Review Clearance Certificate (Form 19) was submitted on 10 February 2026. According to National Credit Regulator (NCR) regulations, this update should have been completed within 21 business days. Despite this, my credit profile still incorrectly shows that I am under debt review.

The explanation that the DHS system is offline is not acceptable, as there is an alternative system (CBA) available with a turnaround of 3–5 working days. This ongoing delay is causing serious prejudice, negatively affecting my credit profile and limiting my financial opportunities.

I demand the following be addressed urgently:

Immediate removal of the debt review status from my profile Confirmation once the update has been completed A clear explanation for this unacceptable delay

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate to the NCR, the Credit Ombud, and pursue further legal action if necessary.

Consumers should not have to fight to have their records updated in accordance with the law.
