VCCB contravenes NCA and POPI Acts

VCCB have been contravening the NCA and possibly other laws/acts for years but not removing expired listings. This cause much economic and lifestyle harm to individuals and families. It hinders them from building investment and financial security. All other credit bureaus have removed the expired listings, except VCCB

Upon research, both Experian and the Ombud admitted on recorded telephone calls, that they agree with the act and that as per rule 7 in the table, Judgements, although they stand for many more years, they can only be listed by the credit bureau for a maximum of 5 years, yet when I request that much older judgments be removed from my profile, they ignore or refuse.

Text from the act: 70. Credit bureau information.—(1) In this section, “consumer credit information” means information concerning— (2) A registered credit bureau must— ( f ) promptly expunge from its records any prescribed consumer credit information that, in terms of the regulations, is not permitted to be entered in its records or is required to be removed from its records; (i) not knowingly or negligently provide a report to any person containing inaccurate information.

Furthermore, the way VCCB has setup their website is ******** and is ******ion of information. They force people to give their personal information against their will, or they will not deal with them. Their incentive, as in my case, is to have false or expired listings, which force people to engage with them, at which point they ****** more personal information from them. They then use that info for economic gain by marketing their services to companies and claiming that they have the best, latest, most detailed info.

Please urgently resolve/remove the expired listings on my profile; and please stop your contraventions and ******ionary business practice.
