Ver-tex Solutions and DirectAxis the most useless service providers in South Africa
Dear Ver-tex Solutions, DirectAxis, Partners and Afilliates,
I have never, dealt with a more useless company and employees, than I have with Ver-tex Solutions and DirectAxis.
End of 2021, I had been paying my account with Ver-tex for 2 years not missing any payments on a DirectAxis loan, I called in December 2021 to cancel the debit order I had arranged with Ver-tex, due to financial difficulties (we did just go through a pandemic) and explained I was not in a financial position to pay and will do so hopefully by the end of March 2022, however I was still not in a position to do so, until April 2022 when I called Ver-tex to set-up a new payment arrangement as I was now in a position to, they informed me that my account was blocked, due not not paying and was handed over to a new collections company called DMC.
If you have been following up until now, keep reading it get's interesting.
I did not receive any calls during the "3-4 month cool off period" or any notice thereof that I was being handed over from one debt collection company, to another and when enquiring why I was not informed, they had no answer for me. So I take it as it is, and call the new debt collection company DMC.
They too were not able to give me a reason as to why I was handed over with no notice and no call, notifying me that they had received my account and only having record of my initial loan amount to be paid back, I had a massive argument with DMC insisting they have the wrong amount and have not taken the past two-year payments into account. They requested I send through proof of payment over the two-year period that I was paying Ver-tex Solutions (2020 and 2021), which I did. After emailing my proof, I received an email saying that my account has been sent through for investigation and I did not hear back from DMC since that email.
Fast forward 2 - 3 months we are now in July, I get a call from Ver-tex Solutions, interesting, right? My account has been handed back to them from DMC with the initial loan amount to be paid back, confused I asked them why I was handed back to them, when they had handed me over to DMC? Puzzling right? They were too, not able to give me an answer and insisting that I confirm and accept that the credit handled by Ver-tex, is the initial loan amount, not taking into account my previous payments made to them and when requesting statements for each month my account was debited, I get a copied and pasted word document, which tells me nothing and only showing the initial loan amount.
So now, we are at the end of September 2022, I still have Ver-tex calling me confirming that I owe the initial loan amount and me still confirming that is not the correct amount to be paid, when it is clear as day-light that I have proof of payment for two-years, they are not able to provide me statement of accounts for the two-year period they were handling my account, after countless phone calls with them they are still not able to grasp that the amount they are wanting me to pay back is not correct.
Clearly someone at Ver-tex were doing their job over that two-year payment period correctly and updating my account which reflects on my credit report. It clearly shows the initial loan amount, which I am not denying, however just below that figure is a line called Current Balance which shows the correct amount that needs to be paid back and takes into account the two-years worth of payments I have made. So what now? Oh and not to mention this is a loan from six-year-ago, so yes I do take responsibility for my debit and am wanting to find a resolution to this madness and continue paying my account, however at the correct current balance.
Even with all this proof of accounts from my side, I am still getting harassed by *********** people who clearly have no idea what they are doing and DirectAxis is also culprit in this ridiculous saga, called, financial institutions manipulating and abusing consumers in an already run down economy and when trying to call them and find out what is going on as the account belongs to DirectAxis they are so unhelpful and just as pathetic as Ver-tex Solutions.
So here we are, still no resolution, so I feel my only option now is to lodge complaints with the Council for Debt Collectors, FAIS Ombudsman and to seek legal help in resolving this matter as I feel I am not being fairly treated as I am sure are so many others by these ******* institutions, harassed, manipulated and taken advantage of.
I am open for suggestions from the public on how to move forward with my matter at hand, and would appreciate any feedback or similar hassles with DirectAxis and Ver-tex Solutions and the next steps to take.
Thank you so much.
