Terrible Administration of Capitec Collections

After an extended period of unemployment, I discovered that my Capitec loan had been handed over to this company. The loan was taken out in September 2018 and I was retrenched shortly afterward. I paid the first few months instalments but by January I could no longer make payments. The loan was a 24-month loan and due to end in September 2019. In July 2019, I found employment and immediately approached Capitec to make arrangements. I discovered that the loan account had been handed over a few weeks prior and was told to contact Ver-tex to make arrangements. I immediately called and spoke to a consultant. Concerned that I would run out of airtime, I asked the consultant to return my call and provided my contact details. Up till now I have not been able to make a payment toward my loan nor has anyone from the collection company called me, and all the while, interest is being accrued and my credit rating is negatively affected.
