Debt recovery scheme

This is one of the worst debt companies I have dealt with. I was owing R7 387.89 and was offered a 30% discount on my online profile if I settle my account which I did. I phoned their call center the next day once I saw that the payment reflected on the online profile to request a paid-up letter and was told I need to wait 30 days to ensure that I don't reverse my payment. I explained to your agent that payment wasn't made via debit order so I cant reverse and was told that is the policy. Today I get a calling saying I still owe R2.2k. When I explained that I have already settled the account I was told the 30% discount didn't apply as I contact them to inform you that I want the discount which was already given to me as per my online account. This doesn't make any sense and I will not be ****** by these people.
